Humans Can Read uses multi-sensory approach to reading intervention. If you’re a student with us, please have the following supplies on hand. You’re more than welcome to substitute these items
- Tiles, Pom-Poms or Other Objects
- Sand (Preferred but you’re welcome to purchase what works for you or use what you have on hand.)
- Crayons (Red, Green, Yellow)
- Screen
- Several pieces of paper (sturdy) to make vowel tents (check with your tutor as this is for younger students)
- Dry Erase Board
- Dry Erase Marker
- Highlighters
- Letter Paper* (Will be emailed the day before – please print before class)
- Dictation Paper* (Will be emailed the day before – please print before class)
*Please have a copy of dictation paper, letter paper, and lined paper available for each session. We do not use dry erase as we will need a photo or scan to be emailed after each session. This helps us keep track of skills as we go.
